Probably one of the best purchases and tools we`ve ever made — this scanner, the Creaform HandySCAN 3D BLACK Series.
Its accuracy (0.025 mm) lets us bring every part into Fusion 360 and create "miracles" there.
Every new part is born first in the drawings, and it`s thanks to the scanner that we can run simulations and print exactly what we need straight from the scan, so we can check the part`s accuracy. And yes, we use quite a few 3D printed parts, because they fit perfectly and do their job. As you`ve probably already noticed... and then there`s our new Bambu Lab printer. But that`s a story for another episode 😄
Big thanks to @_oldbac_3dscan for our scanner and software 🏁

The stock spot for the coolant expansion tank? Gone. 👋
We`re running a non-original radiator on this build, so the tank had to move. New bracket, designed and 3D printed in-house in PA-GF — glass fibre reinforced nylon. It stays stiff next to a hot engine and holds its shape at under-bonnet temperatures, where standard printed plastics start to sag.
Then we pushed the tank further toward the centre of the car. Shorter hose runs and easier access when servicing.

Would you run a printed bracket in your engine bay? YES or NO? 👇

The final days before the reveal. 🏁
Wiring, fitting, adjusting, bleeding brakes, alignment, testing — and still finding little things to improve along the way.
A big part of our team has been involved, and this project has already given us more stories, challenges and laughs than we could fit into one post.
We’re not showing you everything yet.
Just a few more days before the real testing begins. 🖤

No more teasers — here`s our livery. 👀
One legendary race car gave us the starting point. We took it from there.
Any guesses? 👇
The E46 Compact is going to look wild. And you`ll be seeing these colours a lot more often. 🔥

Yes, but… let us explain. 👀

Small 3D-printed details made to keep our E46 Compact body clean and tidy, prevent anything from rubbing through, and make everything look extra smooth and satisfying. ✨
This time we made a few small but important parts:
– a firewall piece that holds the steering axle rubber boot neatly in place;
– a brake line pass-through for the firewall, so the lines stay properly positioned and protected;
– a fuel hose bracket that bolts directly to the body, keeping everything stable and stopping the hoses from moving where they shouldn’t;
– plastic window holders inside the doors, keeping the windows securely in place.
They might look like small details, but these are exactly the things that make the whole build feel clean, safe, and well thought out. When every hose, line, rubber piece, and bracket has its own proper place, everything starts to come together exactly how it should. 🤌
Feels like we’re slowly building a unicorn. 🦄

ATTENTION ❗💥
Shifter selector rod end. Machined from metal, in-house.
Solid throughout — nothing in it to soften, harden or crumble. Direct swap, works with the OEM selector rod. Fits manual BMWs from the E36 up.

NP Parts Front Main Control Arm
Since this is our own NP Parts build, we wanted to put all our crazy ideas into action and test them properly.
Inner mounting point:
Most kits on the market use a design that mounts this point lower than the original control arm, resulting in even worse roll center geometry.
Our design has an inner mounting point 11.5 mm higher than the original BMW control arm.
Camber adjustment:
We designed a shim-based camber adjustment system. This makes it faster and more convenient to set both arms equally and precisely.
Overall arm design:
We made the arm stronger and lighter by adding material where it is needed and machining more material away from areas where it is not.
The new design is also more resistant to side impacts.
Built to test our ideas properly — and push the suspension setup further. 🏁
